Ducklings

The Duckies project is a personal and very cute project for the soul that I started
in January 2021 while I was on the simester vacation from teaching, I had some time
vacaned and the Idea of making a duck collection was already well-cooked in my head.

The Spartan Ducky was the first in the series and opened my appetite to create more ducks. It contains carefully selected items and simplified spartan army uniforms

Afterwards there was a collaboration with the master craftsman for aluminum molds Glen Jones, who gave life to the Colossus Ducky (As a door holder) and to his “son”, a smaller variation of the aluminum ducky. Later, he also produced a similar variation to Snail duck with a silverish shiny shell.

This project received exciting feedback and orders for the unique duckies in the country and around the world, And there are also several new duckies for the series to serve as unique estitacle elements.

Recovering ducky

That period after my surgery was my inspiration for Recovering ducky: It’s a therapeutic ducky that accompanies a person during an injury and its all purpose is to set a reminder for the ideal state of mind required until fully recovered:

  • This isn’t “injured ducky”. It’s not looking at the past fully focussing on the recovery process.
  • It’s always smiling: Keeping a happy face and optimistic approach helps the recovery process. 
  • At the end of the process, the bendages can be removed as well as the persons. 

Getting well is a journey. Each person who was severely injured and recovered knows that this process has a lot of added value and lessons for life And there are a lot of reminders to be thankful for.

The Baruch Duck

Baruch has a very distinct look, and so for his birthday it has been my honor to prepare him a birthday gift, a duck in his image. Just as Baruch’s style inspired me it’s not a half and half duck but rather a “and” duck – that moto has led the design. 

The duck stands on a base that is also an “and” it is a traditional base as well as a bag attachment.

Michelin Duck:

This humoristic idea was born while I was traveling in Chiang Mai, Thailand. One of the restaurants I visited had a plate of a roasted duck that won a Michelin star the same year…  Michelin is a world famous car tire company that wanted to increase its sales and in the 1900s created a restaurant guide along the roads to its stores.

This guide became very popular

This design is a fusion between the Michelin tire logo and a ducky.
